Bishop's Property (ß) and the Cesàro Operator

The paper gives a condition that is sufficient for E. Bishop's property (ß), and it applies this result to the Cesàro operator on the Hardy spaces Hp, 1<p<{infty}. In the process, it identifies the approximate point spectrum of the Cesàro operator.
