Uniformities and Complemented Group Algebra Ideals

Andrew G. Kepert

Received 22 January 1996. Revision received 11 December 1996.

We continue an investigation of complementation in closed ideals of commutative group algebras. The main result here is a sufficient condition for a closed ideal of a commutative group algebra to have a Banach space complement. This involves the comparison of uniformities on the hull of the ideal.
