Metastable States of Symmetric Markov Semigroups II

We show that if the ground state of the generator of a symmetric Markov semigroup is nearly n-fold degenerate, then its configuration space may be divided into n metastable regions. We also provide much sharper estimates for the case when n = 2, which was treated in the first paper.
