Infinite Permutation Groups of Rapid Growth

H. D. Macpherson

New Hall Cambridge CB3 0DF

If M is an N0-categorical structure of domain M, then for all kisinN the number nk(Aut M) of orbits of Aut M on k-subsets of M is finite. Connections are here investigated between different growth rates for nk(Aut M) and various model-theoretic properties of M, such as {omega}-stability, instability, and the independence property.
