On the Representation Theory of Solvable Lie Algebras Ii: The Abelian Group Attached to a Prime Ideal

Kenneth A. Brown

Mathematics Department, University of Glasgow, University Gardens Glasgow G12 8QW

In this sequel to [6], the clique and graph of links of a prime, non-primitive ideal P of the enveloping algebra U of a finite-dimensional complex solvable Lie algebra g are studied. The main result shows that the graph of links of P is a quotient of the graph of a ‘generic’ primitive ideal containing P. (The cliques and link graphs of the primitive ideals of U were analysed in [6].)
