The Asymptotic Distribution of the Number of Crossings Between Tangential Circles by Planar Brownian Motion

We find an asymptotic distribution for the number of crossings between two tangential circles by planar Brownian motion. This distribution does not depend on the respective radii and is closely related to the distribution of the closest distance of a Brownian path to a fixed point, computed by Y or [12].
